Donnie23 Eats Crow About The Yankees And Loves It

A few weeks ago, prior to the return of A-Rod I wrote how the top paid Yankees had lost their hunger for winning. How since they had received their big pay days or were close to the end of careers they really didn’t have the same heart as teams with young, hungry players. BOY WAS I WRONG!
The Yankees have turned it around and are ripping up AL pitchers left and right delivery heart breaking loses to the Twins and beating up on the O’s these past two series. A-Rod’s back, Brune’s back, Tex is getting more pitches to drive and the rotation is coming together.
The Yankee’s stand only two and half games behind Toronto and one game behind Boston. The division remains tough but the Yanks are showing their ability to collect wins along the way. After Baltimore they have the Phillies which could be tough… but then on to Texas, Cleveland then Texas again. Then they have Tampa Bay for four games which will be a good test. The true test will be their next series against the Red Sox the second week in June. Feeling pretty good about the Yankees now… Pretty Damn Good.
